Camera Shots And Editing

  1. Three camera shots:

-The Establishing Shot at 0:50 shows the audience that Sarah Jane lives alone, it also shows the audience that she's a journalist or a detective as she have loads of electronic device. However these establishing shot might annotate that someone is in the scene, or someone might be behind her. This will make the audience feel confused about what is happening.

-The Medium Close Up at 1:27 shows us that Sarah Jane knows a lot about something that is happening in her life outside of her work life, it also shows us that she haves something important going on in these scene because of how many computers are open in her desk. This will make the audience feel at ease.

-The Close Up at 2:30 shows the audience that Sarah Jane is worried and scared of what's about to come what the future will be, we can see these emotions in her eyes. Her eyes are red and she looks like she's about to cry. This makes the audience feel upset and worried for her.

2. The Low Angle at 3:30 shows us that something is a lot bigger and more powerful than him in that room as he's looking up, and the way he's kind of smiling shows the audience that he's surprised and shocked from this but he is also amazed. This makes the audience feel like there is something new coming in and they want us to imagine it so they are not showing us they want us to have out own feelings and thoughts.

3. Mise-en-scene: The props shows different kinds of technology used in this scene, like how the computers shows different kinds of records, and the pole that sparks with electric current that the guy is holding onto, shows the audience and it's a sci-fi related film because of the electrical sparks flying out of nowhere. This makes the audience feel intrigued and excited because the sound that they put is very loud and it pulls you in the film.
