  1) What  key conventions  of print adverts can you find and what are the  connotations  or deeper meanings of each convention?  For each convention, write about how it communicates meaning to the audience. See the Maltesers advert above for an example of how to do this. A print ad includes   one or two striking pictures that illustrate your offer . If you are offering a free product, your ad should include an attractive photo of the product. If you are highlighting a hot new product or sale, your image should be of that hot new product. 2) What is the USP (unique selling point) for Skittles and how do you know?   1) What does BAME stand for? Black, Asian, minority ethnic 2) Why is there a need for blood in the BAME community?  There's a need of blood for BAME community because there are only 3% of black and asian donners who donates blood for BAME community. 3) What does this advert want people to do once they've seen it (the 'call to action')? They want them do donate blood and reflect on how much they've done for the world, and that the audience need to help change the community. 4) Why is the advert called 'Represent'?   1) What year was the advert produced? This advert was from  1955 2) How were women represented in most adverts in the 1950s? Add as much detail to this answer as you can as these are the social, cultural and historical contexts we will need to write about in the exam.
