it has a plot and a type of problem that's has happened that need to be resolved at the end just like TV drama series and it has characters and a narrative and a setting.

Although His Dark Materials has been marketed as young adult fiction, and the central characters are children, Pullman wrote with no target audience in mind. The fantasy elements include witches and armoured polar bears; the trilogy also alludes to concepts from physics, philosophy, and theology.

  Conglomerate Most major media companies are conglomerates that own a range of smaller companies (called subsidiaries). An example of this is Disney owning Marvel. Vertical integration Vertical integration is when one conglomerate owns different companies in the same chain of production.
